Cansat

CanSat is a competition for pupils in the senior years of secondary education. The teams devise a mission, write a research proposal, build a satellite and present this to a jury. The best teams launch their CanSat with a rocket and land it safely using a parachute. It as a unique project in which students are given the opportunity to gain practical experience in constructing a complex system using knowledge and skills from several disciplines.

Delft University of Technology and the space company ISIS set up CanSat in the Netherlands. Since 2016, the Dutch edition has been realised by ESERO NL on behalf of NSO.
