Copernicus is the European Union's Earth Observation Programme, looking at our planet and its environment for the ultimate benefit of all European citizens. Copernicus has been specifically designed to meet user requirements. Based on satellite and in situ observations, the Copernicus services deliver near-real-time data on a global level which can also be used for local and regional needs, to help us better understand our planet and sustainably manage the environment we live in. The Netherlands Space office(NSO) together with The European Environment Agency(EEA), the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC), the Wageningen University and Research (WUR), International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam(VU) are organising a workshop about the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS), to better identify the use and possible improvements of this service.
This workshop will take place on Wednesday the 13th of June 2018, 9:30-17:00 in the The Hague.
During the workshop:
The workshop will offer participants the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others, exchange ideas on the service and to participate in the conversation with the European CLMS team on the future of the service.
