Many industries, institutes and universities are active in the area of space communication and navigation. Data from communication satellites (for telephone, TV, special services data, etc) are received, used and transmitted by many companies on various ground stations. For example, in Burum more than 20 very large and medium-size antennas receive data from satellites such as Intelsat and Eutelsat.
