Ursa Minor focuses on the development of novel, integrated, space related services. The company's systems engineering experience is brought to bear in the combination of space-based and terrestrial communications systems in applications for the provision of value added navigation, communication and remote sensing services. This includes the provision of a broad range of location based solutions.
Space activities
Ursa Minor is involved in a dozen space-based projects concerning e.g. the Galileo Test User Segment's Search and Rescue Test Beacon, Galileo Search and Rescue, SAR simulators, Environmental Distress Demonstrators (EDD), Multi-modal Tracking and Tracing Service (MTTS), Galileo Maritime Terminal, Marsfly and others. These activities include both hardware and software development and encompass space activities from exploration to public protection and disaster relief to commercial applications. With a growing network of expert partners in diverse relevant fields, Ursa Minor is continuing to develop it's role as a potential system integrator for future projects in a number of fields.
