General:
ISTA, the International Space Transport Association, is a non-profit, international association of space enterprises. ISTA leads, represents and promotes the commercial space industry by scanning the environment and keeping its members informed of new developments in technology, safety and regulation, while also adding value to its members by providing marketing, legal, HR and business development services.
Space Activities:
The International Space Transport Association is the global platform for government, business, consumers, science and academia to network and to sustainably build the future of the commercial space industry together. ISTA facilitates the industry’s growth by hosting space businesses at Spherium in the Spacetrade Center in The Hague. This sphere for global space enterprises is a cultivator for high-tech space innovation. ISTA connects space companies to human capital and space technology to venture capital. ISTA provides advocacy and lobbying services for its members in their respective national and regional governments. In addition to this, other activities include a business-to-consumer tourist board for spaceflight passengers, which distributes information about spaceflight operators to future astronauts.
