Water Insight BV is a company that produces innovative high quality spatial information products of surface water (and surface hydrology) based on observations with cameras deployed from boats, airplanes and satellites (remote sensing).
Being an innovative company, Water Insight is also active in research projects, in cooperation with research institutes such as the IVM and WL | Delft Hydraulics.
Water Insight and Space
Water Insight provides solutions for the acquisition, archiving and processing of digital images and in situ water reflectance measurements. As a spin-off company from the Institute of Environmental Sciences (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), we have a strong track record in remote sensing consultancy, software production, training and education and are an experienced and reliable international project partner for technological innovation, demonstration and implementation projects.
The projects carried out by Water Insight are currently aimed at the development of operational water remote sensing services for water management.
